division superin tendent at Deadwood will be made divi sion Mr Rhodes resignation is effec tive May 1 Mr Rhodes it is understood will spend a considerable period in travelling abroad He is a man of considerable means and has spent the past thirty years in railroading He is recognized as a motive power expert and as an ex port of great ability His management of the Wyoming district of the Burlington has been very successful and it is said that he stands high in estimation of the Burlington management He began his railroading career on the Pennsylvania but has been with the Burlington
