Many cases of litigation between farm
ers themselves and between farmers and
people of other vocations could be pre
vented if the parties thereto were prop
erly advised about each others rights
and obligations in the beginning There
are not many lawsi its among farmers in
Rgd Willow county Our farmers are
peaceable folk and know how to settle
their own differences but occasionally
questions arise where a little knowledge
of law will save a farmer the value of
a field of corn or a big bunch of shoats
An excellent way to get thi3 morsel of
legal lore in time is to be a regular sub
scriber for The Iowa Homestead of Des
Moines Iowa a very popular farm paper
with our people which has a regular
legal department each week answering
inquiries about line fences road laws
damage suits conveyances and other
legal problems puzzling to the farmer
Such a department is something compar
atively new in farm journalism The
Homestead having been the first to in
troduce this valuable feature The pa
per of course contains all the usual
features of a good farm journal besides
We take subscriptions for it at The Tri
bune office

A Present to Every
Farmers
and Girl
G W Predmore Sons are so anxious that every
farmer should know of Skows Rotary Disc Sharpener
and the wonderful work it is doing in their shop that they are
willing to give a nice present to every boy or girl that will
read this ad to their father and induce him to bring us
a trial set to be sharpened This wonderful disc sharp
ener in our shop is one of
only 6 in Nebraska Discs
sharpened on this machine
do better work and stay
sharp twice as long as by
the old hand method
The reason is that the
discis rolled instead of
pounded made from three
eighths to five ei g h t h s
of an inch larger the steel
is made harder and the
disc naturally cut easier
while the old method of
pounding warps the disc
out of shape and makes
it rough
