appointment at the Christian church

Mr and Mrs Art Stevens returned
from McCook Sunday morning bringing
tho infant of Mrs Man Fletcher nee

Mr Malmsberg who owns a line farm
near Bartley has been here fcr sometime
getting teams and machinery and star

to his homo In Omaha Tuesday evening
Mrs Catharine Wolf widow of tho
late Eugene Wolf died at tho home of
her daughter Mrs Seward Flannigan
Monday about eleven oclock after a
short illness Her remains were interred
in the Dry Creek cemetery Tuesday
She was a most exemplary woman loved
by all who made her acquaintance She
never make an enemy and her life was
that of a model Christian

A H Bell has sold his restaurant busi
ness and will retire to private life in his
new home in tho west part of town
Clarence Dolan arrived from Cali
fornia a few days ago and will remain
in these parts for an indefinite period
Carl Korns has resigned his position
as chef in C C Burts restaurant Carl
will rusticate on the farm this summer
R M has gone back to his
farm north of town to live Mr Lyons
bought his town property and will live
there
Dyer Dragoo has moved into the old
Masonic building Mr Dragoo will
work for his father-in-law in the imple
ment business
Matt Pearl and Carl Lawritson of Mc
Cook enme down on No 12 and spent
tho day with their uncle Mark and fam
ily last Saturday
N J Uerlinsr our prosperous merchant
has returned from St Joe where he has
been for several days on business con
nected with his store
A good many of our citizens were dis
appointed in not getting to hear the Rev
Sam Jones who was billed to speak at
Cambridge March 15th
The Otterbein Male Quartette at the
opera house last Wednesday evening
was well attended we understand but
our citizens were some what disappoint
ed in the performance
A H Bell moved his household coods
to his residence in the west part of town
on Wednesday last David Bell and
brother have taken possession of the
restaurant and will feed tho hungry J
