relatives in South McCook They ex
pect to leave in due time for Seattle

week in the city on his way west from
Blocmfield Knox county Nebraska
where he has been in the hardware busi
ness a while Mrs Leach had gone to
Colorado over the Union Pacific on a
visit to her parents briefly before going
on to the Pacific coast where they ex
pect to locate Everett Washington be
ing the point in view we understand
C A Frederick of Paonia Colo
spent Tuesday in the city looking up old
acquaintances and familiar scenes Mr
Frederick was on his way to Lincoln to
visit his family briefly a daughter be
ing in school there and the wife being
there for the benefit of her health re
quiring a lower altitude than her Colo
rado home for a while Mr Frederick
was in the newspaper busiuess here in
the early eighties He is now running a
newspaper in the fruit belt of Colorado
and prospering
