accompanied by Miss Edith Allen who
visited a few days with relatives and

Herbert Allen died at his home here
iast Friday evening after a lingeiing ill
ness His disease was creeping paraly
sis After trying the doctors here and
growing worse all the time his friends
prevailed on him to enter the hospital in
Denver hoping that a change of treat
ment might prove beneficial but after
remaining several weeks and deriving no
benefit h9 returned home where he was
attended with loving care by kind friends
until he needed their care no longer
Herbert was a fine young man respected
by all who knew him The funeral was
held at the home of the deceased Sun
day morning and was largely attended
