Quite a largo crowd was in attendance
at the Longneker grove on the Fourth
There was an abundance of good things

nearly everything else It was a pleas
ant social meeting and one that was en
joyed by all present We would bo bet

ions of the will and the charges and expenses
of administering said estate and of these pro
ceedings there not being sufficient personal
property to pay the said items aforesaid It is
therefore ordered that all persons interested in
said estate appear before me at my office in the
city of McCook in Red Willow County Nebras
ka on the 17th day of August 1903 at 1 oclock
p m to show cause why a license should not be
granted to said executors to sell the said real
estate of the deceased to pay said expense of
maintenance and the charges and expenses of
administering said estate and of theso proceed

The tenth and eleventh grades held a
picnic in the Woodman hall last Satur
day They had made big preparations
to have the picnic on School creek but
the big rain Friday put a quietus to
their plans so they concluded to do the
next best thing and celebrate in the hall
