childrens day exercises It took over
two hours to render tie program which
was quite elaborate
Last Sunday was tho anniversary of
Mrs E E Smiths birthday The event
was celebrated by a pleasant meeting of
her friends and relatives Refreshments
were served during the afternoon
The Wilson house is a welcome addi
tion to the business interests of Bartley
The traveling public speak in the high
est terms of their entertainment there
Mr Wilson has provided a free hack
which makes all regular trains
Childrens day exercises at the Chris
tian church Sunday evening were nicely
executed from start to finish The house
was packed and about an equal number
were standing outside A large mission
ary collection was taken which will be
sent to spread the gospel in foreign lands
Henry McKean has just finished a
commodious house on his farm near
Bartley and was in town Monday buy
ing paint Fred Huntwork has the con
tract for carpenter and paint work and
Mr McKean says it will compare favor
ably with the work of the best mechan
ics

city of McCodk in Red Willow County Nebras
