the town of Livingston Montana fifty
five miles north of the National Park
Livingston he says is a lively town of
five thousand or mure inhabitants He
has employment in the shops at that
place and receives good pay
There was great rejoicing at the homo
of Rev Satchell last Saturday evening
when Miss Orpha walked in unexpected
to ull but her brother Fred who went to
McCook to meet her Ho left her at the
home of T M Campbell until he got the
team put away and got in the house and
nicely settled then Miss Orpha walked
in as if she had never been away Freds
folks thought ho must bo crazy to start
to McCook such a day as it was but
changed their miuds after Miss Orpha
walked in that night

who was burned to death on Monday

the particulars of the sad accident
George Cramers nephew Raymer
Cramer who has been in the Philippines
has been visiting with the folks here
He left yesterday for St Louis where he
will servo as a guard during the great
exposition in 1901
Last Wednesday evening while pre
paring the Christmas tree for the even
ings entortainment at tho Methodist
church tho cotton with which tho tree
was wrapped took fire and but for the
timely interference of those present
something serious might have resulted
Quite a serious and probably fatal ac
cident happened to a young man named
Bunnell living north of town while out
hunting last Saturday evening He
was driving in his cart and in somo un
explained manner the gun was dis
charged the load taking effect in his
arm The doctors have some hopes of
his recovery
