went to her home in Indianola Saturday and Pleasant Prairie school will have a vacation of two weeks ending January 6th 1902 This weather is a welcome visitor after the severe weather just passed which was something new for this time of year The reports gave the register at 2i below The Christmas school entertainment at Pleasant Prairie school house was well attended The program was well the saloon of Oscar Tigerstrand 193d Larimer street in view of scores of people who were under the impression ho was asleop thinks that death was due to chronic alcoholism Quinn was a member of the Brotherhood of Eailroad Trainmen of McCook Neb He entered the saloon about 4 oclock and ordered a drink for which he paid A few minutes later he threw a 2o cent piece on the counter and ordered a second drink After receiving change Quinn walked over to a chair in the rear of the saloon near the lunch counter There he sat until 11 oclock at night when the proprietor found him dead Quinn was employed on the Colorado Southern last fall Before that he was employed as conductor on the South ern Pacific He leaves a wife and several children who live at McCook Neb Officer Frye of the local
