quired The leakage was soon discovered as the following from the Lincoln Journal reports Water Commissioner Tyler said that the bills for the quarter com prising the months of July August and September explained why the depart ment was hard pressed during the drouth season Some customers who have never paid more than 5 water rent for a quarter will pay more than 20 dollars for those three months During the continued dry spell more water was used than ever before in a like period in the history of the city Mr Tyler says it is little wonder that the department was unable to maintain pressure during all this time The supposed leaksin the service have all been found by the meter inspectors It is in such time as this quarter that the man who uses water on schedule rates without a meter gets the department Fortnightly Elects Officers The Fortnight dancing clubs official family for the season of 1901 2 is as fol lows President Frank Kendlen vice president H H Tartsch secretary
