TUB knife continues to be a populn :
political implement.
KANSAS and Iowa have returned U
the Republican column in fine form.
REKSB got the full party vote of lasl
year ; but the increase vote all went tt
the Fusion ticket. Hence the disaster
JUDGK NORRIS' vindication is conclus
ive and complete. The people of the
.Fourteenth district have said so in m
uncertain voice.
THE'results of Tuesday's election uiaj
be summarized as follows : Ohio Re
publican by 50,000 ; Kentucky Republi
can by 7,000 ; Pennsylvania Republicai
by 125,000 ; Massachusetts Republicar
by 65,000 ; Iowa Republican by 65,000
South Dakota Republican by 8,000
New York Republican by 35,000 ; New
Jersey Republican by 8,000 ; Marylano
Democratic by 5,000 ; Nebraska Fus
ion by 15,000.
Morris' Superb Victory.
As the returns come in it is being
more fully realized that Judge Norris1
victory is a most complete and gratify
ing one. In a district that gives a Fus
ion plurality ol 200 or 300 he comes out
with a plurality of about 400. The fol
lowing vote is practically correct , giving
pluralities :

in the hip , dropping to the ground. He was
carried into the Barnett Lumber Company's

Miss Vina procured a livery rig and drove
