The greatest care should bo given to MOST VIOLENT CASES HAVE any little bou- , pimple or scratch which shows no disposition to heal under ordin &GDEZADCFI AT CIDOT AC any treatment ho one can tell how soon these An tArO AI rtnol Ao win develop into Cancer of the worst type. So many people die from Cancer simply be PIM cause they do not know just what the disease is ; tt riisi they naturally turn themselves over to the doctors , and are forced to submit to a cruel and dangerous operation the only treatment which the doctors know for Cancer. The disease promptly returns , however , and is even more violent and destructive than before Cancer is a deadly poison in the blood , and an operation plaster , or other external treatment can have no effect whatever upon it. The cure must come from within the last vestige of poison must be eradicated. Mr. Win Wsilpole. of Walslitoxvn S D , says : "A little blotch about the size of a ppa came under my left eye gradually growing larger , from which shooting pains at intervals ran in nil ilire.cons I became greatly alarmed and consulted : i good doctor , who pronounced it Cancer , and advised that it he cut out , but this I could not con sent to. 1 read in my local paper of a cure effected by S S. S. . and derided to try it. It acted like a charm the Cancer becoming sit first irritated , and then discharging verv freely. Tin's gradually srow less and then discon tinued altogether , leaving si small scab which soon drop- r d off and now only si healthy little scar remains where what threatened to destroy my life once held full sway. " Positively the only cure for Cancer is Swift's Specific because it is the only remedy which can go deep enough to reach the root of the dieraso and force it out of the svstem permanently. A surgical operation -does not reach the blc.od the real seat of the disesise because the blood can not be cut away Insist upon S. S. ; nothing can take its pi-ice. S S. But there's no need to feel like that. Listen to J. W. Kitniiiell's barn and con tents were entirely destroyed by fire , entailing a loss of about $500. There was $200 insurance on the barn. The most regrettable feature of the fire was the death of two horses that were in the barn at the time , one the property of Mr. Kiinniell , the other that of Agent A. P. Thomson the latter having been kindly loaned for a time. It was impos- 'sibje to rescue either of them when the fire was discovered. Agent Thomson's barnabout fifty feet south , was damaged to the extent of about $100 , a spark from the other barn entering the ventilating cupalo and firing the hay in the mow. It took a hard fight to save the barn and the result is due to the excellent work of our fire laddies , who are to be highly commended. The origin of the fire is not known. The frame coal house on the Cronk- hite property , occupied by G. A. Noreu , was also destroyed. Loss on building and contents about $50 There is Nothing Definite. Word has come from Coffeyville , Kan sas , of the finding of a badly decomposed bodin a corn field near that place. Relatives of Robert Barr have been noti fied of the fact , which will likely be in vestigated. Up to this time , howerer , there is nothing definite about the mat ter , and the disappearance of Robert Barr is as much a "deep and unsolved mystery as ever. COURT HOUSE NEWS. DISTRICT COURT. Frank P. Allen et al vs. Frederick Plasmyere et al. ; injunction. The State of Nebraska vs. Joe Dawson ; misdemeanor. No adjustment of the St. Charles hotel fire has been arrived at. We understand that there is a disagreement over the origin of the fire. Attention is directed to the advertise ment of S. W. Lowmau in this issue. I Also to that of W. C. Bullard & Co. W. C. T. U. Last week the graduat ing class of the Carlinville , Illinois , high school presented one of the large aquarelle pictures of our leader , hand somely framed , to the school. The pres entation and acceptance speeches both indicated a gratifying familiarity with and admiration for her life and work. * * 'In your opinion , what proportion of the prisoners inonr jail were brought there directly or indirectly through the use of intoxicating liquors ? " This question was recently submitted by the New Voice to three thousand jailers of the country. Of these , 1,017 have already replied. The iepie.s ! show that in license states and terriioru-s sevent-jtwo per cent of crime has bi en caustd by drink , while in prohibition states only thirty- seven percent is traceable to this source.
