Robbed the Grave.
A startling incident , of which Mr. John
Oliver of Philadelphia , was the subject ,
is narrated by him as follows : "I was in
a most dreadful condition. My skin was
aimost yellow , eyes sunken , tongue
coated , pain continually in back and
sides , no appetite gradually growing
weaker day by day. Three physicians
had given me up Fortunately a friend
advised trying Electric Bitters ; and to
my great joy and surprise , the first bottle
made a decided improvement. I contin
ued their use for three weeks and am
now a well man I know they saved my
life and robbed the grave of another
victim. " No one should fail to try them.

Red Letter Days In the Black Hills.
Hot Springs , Sylvan Lake and Spearfish -
fish aie three Black Hills summer re
sorts tlmt are as attractive iu their way
as any places ot their kind in the west.
And they are as different as any three
places can be.
Hot Springs is a health resort a
good place to get rid of one's rheuuia-
ttbin aud to enjoy life while renewing
one's youthful vigor.
Sylvan Lake is a pretty nook in the
heart of the Hills , an easy-going , cool ,
dreamy spot , where hot weather is un
known.
Spearfish is a thrifty town of perhaps
1,500 people , not particularly notable
except in one respect the beauty of the
railroad ride to it. You should make
the trip to realize how fine it is. There
is nothing more exhilarating , even in
the Rockies.
During July , the Burlington Route
run two cheap excursions to Hot
Springs and Custer ( Sylvan Lake ) one
on the 4th , the other on the i8th. One
tare , plus $2 , for the round trip. Tickets
good 30 days long enough to enable
you to visit every point of interest in
the Black Hills , as well as to receive
untold benefit from the crisp air and
healing waters of this northern sanitar

A Rose That Thrives in a Cemetery.
The best white rose for cemetery
p'auting is Madame Plan tier. It is a va
riety of rather slender growth , and on
this account is sometimes termed a half-
climber. But it requires no tiellis , be
ing much more graceful when allowed
to train itself than when given a support
af any kind. It throws up a great nutn-
bei of stalks.on which great quantities of
uulk-white double flowers are borne in
clusters during June and July. July

\ BIG DIFFERENCE
There's a big difference in
vays of doing business. Some deal
ers simply strive to get a customer
n their place , sell as much as they
ran at one sale by misrepresenta-
ion and never expect to see that
: ustom'er again. Our way is to al-
vays satisfy a buyer , no matter how
; mall the profit. This method makes
) ermanent patrons , and our trade is
argely made up of customers who
lave been coming back to our shop
nonth after month. Try our way
race , and you'll keep coming back
he same way , too.

Ask your doctor about soaps , soaps containing alkali
and soaps made of pure vegetable oils. Physicians and
trained nurses recommend Ivory Soap because it con
tains nothing but pure soap. There's no alkali in Ivory
Soap , it is a thorough cleanser , and is the standard of
soap excellence , 99/4 per cent. pure.

Not much attention is often paid to the
No Toriore Equal to the
first symptoms of Eczema , but it is not long
before the little redness begins to itch and
burn. This is but the beginning , and will
Itching and Borning of
lead to suffering and torture almost unen
durable. It is a common mistake to regard
a roughness and redness of the skin as
This Feerfoi Disease
merely a local irritation ; it is but an indica
tion of a humor in the blood of terrible
Eczema which is more than skin-deep , and can not be reached by local appli
cations of ointments , salves , etc. , applied to the surface. The disease itself ,
the real cause of the trouble , is in the blood , although all Buffering is produced
through the skin ; the only way to reach the disease , therefore , is through
the blood.
Mr. Phil T. Jones , of Mixersville , Ind. , writes :
"I had Eczema thirty years , and after a great deal
of treatment my leg was so raw and sore that it gave me
constant pain. It finally broke into a running sore , and
began to spread and grow worse. For the past five or
six years I have suffered untold agony and had given up
all hope of ever being free from the disease , as I have
been treated by some of the best physicians and have
taken many blood medicines , all in vain. With little
faith left I began to take S. S. S. , and it apparently
made the Eczema worse , but I knew that this was the
way the remedy got rid of the poison. Continuing
S. S. S. , the sore healed up entirely , the skin became
clear and smooth , and I was cured perfectly. "
Eczema is an obstinate disease and can not be cured by a remedy which 13
only a tonic. Swift's Specific
S. S. Sa FOR THE BLOOD
is superior to other blood remedies because it cures diseases which they dan
not reach. It goes to the bottom to the cause of the disease and will cure
the worst case of Eczema , no matter what other treatment has failed. It is
the only blood remedy guaranteed to * ) e free from potash , mercury or any
other mineral , and never fails to cure Eczema , Scrofula , Contagious Blood
Poison , Cancer , Tetter , Rheumatism. Open Sores , Ulcers , Boils , etc. Insist
upon S. S. S. ; nothing can take its place.
Bookg on these diseases will be mailed free to any address by Swift Spe
cific Company , Atlanta , Georgia.

About two years ago a traveling salesman
kindly gave me a bottle of Chnmber-
berlain's Colic , Cholern and Diarrhoea
