Whereas more than fifty petitioners , each being a resident elector and . freeholder within the city of McCook in Red Willow county , Nebraska have petitioned the Mayor and Council of said City of McCook to call a spec- ial election in and for said city for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said i city a proposition to issue the bonds of said j t city in the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars for ' the purpose of aiding in the erection and construction - struction of a court house within the city of : McCook , the county seat of Red Willow ; county , Nebraska. I' Said bonds to be issued in a series of five hundred dollars each , to bear interest at the rate of six per cent. per annum , payable annu- ally on the first day of May each year after the issuance of said bonds. : Said bonds to mature in twenty years from : from date thereof , but all or any of said bonds ( to be payable at the option of the City of Mc , Cook at any time after five years from the 1 date thereof.
