A. J.Vatson , Mrs. A. J. Watson his wife
whose first name is unknown to the plaintiff ,
J. B. McFarland , Mrs. J. B. McFarland his
wife whose first name is unknown to plaintiff ,
and R. M. Snavely , non-resident defendants ,
will take notice that on the . . day of March ,
1896 , Robert B. Beattie filed his petition in the
District Court of Red Willow County , Nebraska -
raska , against said defendants impleaded with
others , that the object and prayer of said petition -
tion are to foreclose a certain mortgage executed -
ted and delivered by one Marion B. Brown ,
now deceased , and Mary A. Brown his wife
to the Nebraska & Kansas Farm Loan Co.
upon the following described premises situated -
ted in Red Willow county , Nebraska , towit :
Lots three and lour in section six , township
three , north of range 28 , west of the sixth p.m.
Said mortgage was given to secure the payment -
ment of one certain promissory note of the
said Marion B. Brown and Mary A. Brown ,
dated October 1st , 18S7 , for the sum of $25o ,
due October 1st , 1892 , with interest from date
at the rate of seven per cent , per annum , payable -
able semi-annually , and ten per cent. after
maturity. The plaintiff is the owner and
holder of said note and mortgage having purchased -
chased the same before maturity thereof , for
a valuable consideration , in the ordinary course
of business , from the said Nebraska and Kansas -
sas Farm Loan Co. ; that default has been made
in the payments of the amounts due upon
said note and mortgage and there is nmty due
to the plaintiff from the estate of Marion B.
Brown , deceased , and Mary A. Brown , the
sum of $250 , with interest thereon at ten per
cent. from October 1st , 1892. Plaintiff prays
that the defendants may be required to pay
the same , or that said premises be sold
according to law and the proceeds applied in
satisfactiop of the amount so found due ( lie
plaintiff , with iuteiest and costs of suit ; and
that the defendants and each of them ,
may be forever barred and foreclosed of and
from all right , title , interest and equity of redemption -
demption in and to said premises and every
part thereof.
You are required to answersaid peption on
or before the 15th day of June , 1896.
