Engineer E. C. McKay's little son has
been quite ill , this week , with croup ,
Trainmaster Kenyon was a Cripple.

Mrs. C. E. Pope and children went
down to Oxford , yesterday , on a visit to
friends.
Roadmaster McFarland was up from
Red Cloud , Thursday , on business at
\Vestern division headquarters.
Engineer Donovan is building a dwelling -
ing house on the lot between the Noble
and Lowman homes , on north Madison.
Dispatcher . B. Mills has purchased
the Marion Plummer lots , corner of Marshall -
shall and Denver , a fine location at a
very reasonable cost.
Train Master J. C. Bircisell came clown
front Alliance , Monday night , on some
business connected with his property interests -
terests here , and to meet his many old-
time friends on the Western division.
He visited Denver during his stay.
To California in a Tourist Sleeper.
The Burlington Route personally conducted -
ducted once-a-week excursions to Colorado -
rado , Utah and California are just the
