' Is it not about time that two of our
local papers called a halt in using pet
names. The people are getting tired
of Pop Gun Smith and Swagger Jawed
Joe , give us a change. Such accusa
tions as they make may be fun for the
principals themselves , but they do not go
to build up a family paper. And in
this connection what good is accom
plished by one member of a church or
Sunday school , publishing such articles
as appeared in one of our papers last
week about another number of the
same Sunday school. Joe may be a
bigger sinner than the writer of that
article only because there is more of
him. A pharisee may be as bad as a
publican sinner. Pull the mote out of
your own eye brother , and you may
not then see so many faults in your
brethren.
WARM WEATHER HAS COME AT LAST
The Best Season of the Year to Treat
Chronic Catarrh.
Understanding that a great number
of people have been cured of chronic
catarrh Pe-ru-na the
by taking - - during
past cold season , yet it can not be
denied that the cold , wet , backward
spring has retarded many cures , and in
some cases actually prevented a cure.
But , after unusual delay , sninmer has
come at last , and now is the time for
all catarrh sufferers to begin a system
atic course of treatment for this disease.
The greatest difficulty in the way of
treating chronic catarrh is that the pa
tient is so liable to catch cold during
the treatment , and thus delay the cure.
This liability at this season of the year
is in a great measure removed , and no
one should neglect the opportunity to
be given treatment.
The proper way to begin treatment
for chronic catarrh is to take a tablespoonful -
spoonful of Pe-ru-na before each meal
and at bedtime. This dose should be
increased so that in one month the pa
tient will be taking two tablespoonfuls
at each dose ; at which time a report of
the case by letter should be made to
Dr. Hartman , Columbus , Ohio , and he
will advise further.

Has the actual difference in the
way CLOTHING is put up ever oc
curred to you ? If it has not , a visit to
the various places where clothing is
sold will convince you that there is a
vast difference between "slop-shop
\v hand-me-downs" and clothing ( not
things ) made of good material and
nicely put together. Here is where f
we have always made a strong point
and the fact that we are selling Men's and Boys' Suits
and Pants , trimmed , lined and sewed equal to any tailor
made suits , at prices as low , and often lower , than the "slop
shop" stuff explains in itself why we are doing so large a
slothing business. We have put forth an extra effort this
spring , and you will find our tables loaded down with the
prettiest line of MEN'S , BOYS' AND CHILDREN'S SUITS
to be found on this market , and if you are looking for good ,
honest goods at the lowest prices , we ask you to carefully
inspect this department. And in Hats , Shirts , Suspenders ,
3veralls , Jeans , Pants , SOCKS , Ties , Night Shirts , etc. , we
lave just what you want and at a price that will meet your
riews.
