C. H. Harman , assistant superintendent of
the Burlington at Denver , has changed places
withE. F. Highland , assistant superintend
ent at Holyoke , the duties of each will be
the same as before. The reason for the

Never say "railroad depot. " Call it "sta
tion. " "Depot" is a place where goods are
stored or kept. The place where passengers
assemble to get on and off trains is a' 'station. "

The latest thing out among the aimless
young men in some of our neighboring towns
a what are called "penny walks. " Every cor
ner they come to they toss up a cent and if
t comes down "heads" they turn to the right
and if "tails" to the left. The game is kept up
until they return to the original point of
starting. Ex.
