The republican rally at Bartley , Friday
night , was well attended.
The Bartley Milling Co. are pushing the
work on their wing of the canal.
Those of our people who attended the polit
ical meetings at McCook , lastSaturday , report
a big time.
Those North East folks who attended Ex.
Gov. St. John's lecture at McCook felt richly
paid for their trip.
Wyrlck's Sunday school has received a good
supply of bibles and question books from Rev.
K. T. Scottborn. apent of the American S. S.
Union , of Benkelman.
Quarterly meeting services at Mt. Zion's
church , Saturday afternoon and evening.
NoVember 1st , and Sunday morning the 2d
inst. Elder Mastin will be present during
the entire meeting.
We are glad to state upon good authority
that Commissioner Kaum. upon request of
some western congressmen , has signified his
Intention to favor the burnt district o'f Ne-
biaska , Kansas and Colorado in granting pen
sions under thn new law. Indianola board of
examining surgeons meet on Wednesday of
each week. * *

and ten interest coupon notes all dated Sep
tember 1,1887 , the principal note for the sum
of $ GOO due five years , the ten interest notes
each for the sum of 821.00 , the first maturing-
on the first day of March , 1888. and one matur
ing every six months thereafter until the
maturity of the last of said ten notes on the
first day of September. 1892. That default
has been made in the payment of two of said
interest notes , the conditions of said mort
gage have been broken , and under the condi
tions of said mortgage there is now due on
said notes the sura of § 642.00 with interest at
the rate of ten per cent , on ? 62I.OO thereof
from the first day of March. 1890. and on $21.00
thereof from the first day of September , 1889 ,
That the defendant Henry Ballreich be re
quired to pay said sum and interest or that
said mortgage be foreclosed and said premises
be sold according to law and the proceeds of
said sale be applied to the payment of said
debt.
