Mike Karnes is suffering from a severe case of bloodpoisoning in his hand caused from a barb vw"e scratch. We are glad to note Mrs. Jennie Sims is slowly improving. Mrs. C. E. Ross spent Thurs day with Mrs. Bowley in Anselaio. Pius Christen is in the western part of the state buying cattle. We had quite a severe wind and hail storm last week doing some damage to the corn and gardens. Press Bell and sister Miss Anna went to Lincoln Sunday to visit friends. The little son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fodge was severely bitten cm the face bj a dog belonging to John Bell last Wednesday even ing the little one was taken to the Dr. and several stitcher had AM be taken.
