The State Railway Commis sion has issued an order permit ting' the South Omaha Stock YarUs company to increase its. switching1 charges on live atock ' shipments .mil various other commodities in varintf amounts [ OM all except live stnclc the nil- ' ing of the order is of no general interest to anyone excvpl ihe packers and the ptivate business interests of the immediate neigh borhood. On live stock ship ments the stock yards people have been permitted to increase their charge for switching from 50 cents to 75 cents per car , and the connecting railroads aie ordered l/v the commission lo absorb this increase in their regular tariff rale , the efl\ct of this being that ihu increase tails on the railways and not mi ihe shipper.
