It is an unfortunate thing that so ninny large tracts of land are held by individual persons iu the vicinity of llroken Dow. The populatin of Broken Bow city and township has increased by 200 families within the last few years. 200 more families could be located on lar c tracts of land adjacent to Broken Bow if these tracts were only subdivided into small farms. The individual and the community would be better off with small farm own ers. Hence we are offering the Bcrtrau Ranch of 840 acres only two miles north of Broken Bow in small tracts to suit purchasers , even as small as 10 acres Here is some choice land. We had a bonafide offer of $4000 per acre for tbe 840 acres , aud the pur chaser offered to pay a good sum down , but wanted the balance in yearly payments , aud we refused to sell. J he best of this land not to farm aud run stock on and now is your time to step in and get what you want. Lo cation , quality of soil , road to town and price cannot be b-eat. You will think so if you look it over , We have other farms aud ranches for sale. sale.WH.LTS WH.LTS CADWELL , C. W. BOWMAN. I have now arranged to take care of a general collection busi ness , having secured a competent 'clerk and stenographer , and -11 collections will receive prompt and energetic attention. 20-tf N. T. GADD OR , GAIOWELL'S CURE FOE CfiNG Authorative Instances of the Treatment's Curative Kesults. Treatment Produces Almost Immediately u Complete Relief From Pain Cancer as a rile has no respect for person , climate , altitude or p isition. It is found as cftcn iti the large cities of the United States as it is throughout the country. Dr. Caldwell , affording her self of the opportunity by her frequent visits professionally to the different parts of the United States , has had access to a proportionate percentage larger than that of any known physician. Her plan of treatment , beginning some years ago , has extended to now almost all parts of the United States. Doctors in general arc willing to admit of her ability and while there are a few in particular who do not like the methods pursued by Dr. Caldwell still they cannot help from ad mitting that she is a wonderful clement in the profession. The one particular complaint laid a the door of Dr. Cald- well's method is that of advertising. The old time school of medical ethics an unwritten law prohibits advertising. Not that the plan of advertising detracts or interferes with any physician's professional - sional ability but is uot considered by doctors as a whole as n fair and square deal. In fact in the doctor business , the code of medical ethics and the adhering to that plan of ethics is what we might term a trust , law or an understanding which binds physicians socially to carry out a cettian plan of laws formulated and known to themselves only. Dr. Cald well has always believed in letting the good things be known. Discuses of women , which require more ability and skill in thtir treatment than any other class of diieases are treated - ed with the greatest success by methods original with Dr. Caldwell and 90 pet cent of the usual operations ate avoided. Operations , as is well known , even the slightest of them , are attended with danger - ger , and when a system of treatment is so eBected as to render u cure possible without operating it U certainly one to with improvements and alfalfa is worth $75.00 per acre. One par ty made us a spot cash offer for the 160 with improvements and alfalfa very near our price of 575.00 per acre. Then , there is 320 acres of the finest farm laud worth $50.00 per acre and another party is neg-o- tiatng- for an eighty at S50. We also have 360 acres of valley land at 525.00 per acre. Or we can sell a valley quarter and a smooth quarter at $37.50 per acre. We will loan you 40 per cent of the purchase price of the land at 7 per cent interest in ten yearly annual payments. Possession will be given March 1st , 1909. We bought this to be considered. Dr. Caldwell's system of treatment means natural medication , it means no poisons given , it means ro diseases produced or injury done , it means a most successful system of medi cine known all as a result of her exper ience in her large continued practice. Years of the largest and most successful practice in the northwest is evidence of the superiority of her ability and integ rity. Dr. Caldwell furnishes her own medicine. Her laboratory is known to contain the largest assortment of pure medicines ot any laboratory to be found throughout the United States. She is directly interested in each patient , there fore when she treats them and the medi cines are prepared directly under her supervision she knows that tle | patients are getting just what she intended them to have. We publish below some recent cures ; Mrs. John Wibblcs , Wolbach , Nebr. , cured female , nervous and kidney dis ease. Had been given up by u number of doctors and told that she must be operated - erated on. Today is so < md and well. Mrs. Frank Henderson , of Spaulding Nebr , , cured of heart disease , female , liver and kidney disease. Had suffered for many years. Mrs. S. K. Hanley , Kearney , Nebr. , cured of a complication of many diseas es. Had been to many doctors previous ly. Frank Colton , OakdoJe , Nebr. , says : "I was an invalid for eleven yeara from stomach and heart disease. I had been given up as incurable by five doctors , and concluded to give Dr. Caldwell a trial. After three months treatment I was al most well ; I continued it two more months and from that day to this which is seven years , I have been a well man. " ' ' Mable Swausou , creeley Center , Neb. , cured of long standing nervous disease. Dr. caldncll will make her next visit. Subscribe For MNBBr < kBD0XI 4ft * If REPUBLICAN LEGAL NOTICES TAX NOTICE.
