for the football game betwcer
Nebraska and Ames at Otnnha.
Sherman Pealc has been com
pelled to quit school on account
of ill health. He left for Broken
Bow Monday morn ng.
The Mid-Semester examina
tions come this week and the
students are all busy "plugging"
up on their studies in order to be
nure of passing and make as good
a record as possible.
The football eleven is making
great preparations for their game
with Kansas next Saturday in
Lincoln. The team was able to
triumph over Ames last Saturday
by a score 23 to 17 and came out
of the struggle in fairly good
shape. There is not a game on
the schedule that the Nebraska
team and students arc more
anxious to win by a good score
than the Kansas game Saturday.
A strong spirit of rivalry has
existed between the two univer
sities for a number of years and
'Nebraska desires above all things
to beat Kansas.
Some sort of a class "fight"
lias usually occurred between the
f resume i , and soph mores each
year. The contests have been
presistently opposed by Chancel
lor Andrews. Something out of
the ordinary in the way of a test
of physical strength has been
substituted this year and final
arrangements have been made
for what will be called the Fresh
man-Sophomore Olympics. The
games will be held in Antelope
part next Saturday morning.
The scoring will be by points ,
wrestling , boxing , a battle royal ,
a tug of war , and a Marathon
race counting different points in
the final result , The Marathon

is sa much extra heat generated by
Mooie's Air-Tight Heater that it
will do the work of two ordinary
ctoves. Simply connect a pipe from
the collar at the rear of the urn and
extend it to a register in the upstairs
room and this extra heat will fur
nish the same temperature as exists
downstairs. Even temperature
throughout the house is an im
portant thing. Possible only with
Moore's Air-Tight Heater. It
heats by circulation instead of
by radiation.
Moore's
Air-Tight
Heater
Is built like a furnace. The heat
radiates from the inner surface and
is discharged through an outer cas
ing and circulated throughout the
rooms. The temperature in every
corner of the rooms is the same ; ,
impossible with any other heating
stove. Then Moore's Air-Tight
Heater is a beautiful stove. Note
the graceful outline , the handsome
nickel trimmings an ornament for
any home. Then there is an en
tire absence of dust when taking out
the ashes , for a dust flue takes up the
dust. One coat of blacking in the
fall is all that is necessary for the
entire winter. Moore's Air Tight
Heater will last a lifetime.-
You Will Use \

.
If you purchase a Moore's Air-Tight Heater. Moore's Everlasting Firepot , the greatest fuel
sicr , will he at your service if this stove is installed in your home. This means that you can
burn every sort of fuel. The cheapest slack coal will furnish as much heat as the best quality of
lump coal. The smoke , which is good fuel , is consumed by means of Moore's Everlasting
Firepot. Come in and let us show you this wonderful heating stove.
