Jasper Beals , of Or tello , found he could spare a couple of days last week from his daily avocation - tion of labor , so came to Broken Bow and visited wit friends. Mr. and Mrs. G. Guyle and Mrs. Henry Guyle drove over from Walworth the first of the week , visited a couple of days in ' the city with friends and attended - tended to some matters of busi- ness. ness.Mr. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Thomas decided to move out to the farm and rented their property , a block west of Iler Grand hotel , to J. B. Brown , who leased his property , in the west part of the city , to Dr. Geo. Pennington. A lodge of H.ebekah , the auxiliary to the Odd Fellows , was instituted with over thirty members , at Merna on Monday. , The team of the Broken Bow ' lodge went over in the afternoon and conferred the degrees. Members of the gun club arc admonished to member the regular - gular practice shoot Tuesday I afternoon at 3 o'clock and be there promptly at the hour so no ! delay will be occasioned. Shoot- 'ing for the beautiful prize , a $40 silver cup , will soon begin.
