Millions of dollars are at stale and the Interstate Commerce commission has secured , d ring its hearing of the cases , testimony enough to supply many great law suits , but the most absorbing feature of the situation to those whose interests are not directly involved is with regard to Scnators Clark and Warren who are said to be implicated in the coal land raft which has resulted in tbe President - dent recommending that the coal lands be perman < ! ntly withdrawn - drawn from settlement. Senators - tors Clark and Warren , particu. larly the latter'have been held in high regard , and the announcement - ment that they were involved in the land scandal has been un- wil ingl' accepted 1y many of tbelr fellow Senators and friends outside.
