An additiou to Broken llow's
corps of physicians was made in
the person of Dr. William Stim-
son.
'l'hc republican county convention -
tion was held in Broken Bow on
August 30th and every precinct ,
with the exception of No.1 , was
represented. Temporary organization -
ization was effccted by electing
1. T. Nortou chairman and D. M.
Amsberry , secretary. After appointment -
pointment of committees adjournment -
ment was takea till 1 o'clock ,
Convention convened again at 1
o'clock. Isaac Merchant wa
elected permanent chairman and
D. C. Kclley , of Sargcnt , secre-
tary. 'rhe nominations for
county ollices was taken up and
made as follows : County clerk ,

county judge. J. S. Benjamin ;
surveyor. E. N. Bishop ; sup't. of
