just north of the fair grounds of
his father-in-law , John Sander-
son. Mr. Davis expects to. move
on his new purchase late this
fall.

Cordis , the blind idiot to Hast-
ing asylum and \Vallace to the
Industrial school at Kearney.

C. H. Steer of Iowa Falls , was
a pleasant caller at this office

Mrs. A. Walton , who is spending
the summer in the hills with
relatives. ,
P. N. Kirkpatrick , who lives
on the Ryno table has an elegant
prospect this year. He has in
forty acres of macronia wheat
which will yield about forty

uushels to the 'acre. His oats are
turning out welt , threshing about
eight ) , bushels to the acre. He
took a load to Broken Bow which
measured out by machine measure
66 bushels but which weighed
out at Broken Bow < )316 bushels ,
over running over one fourth.-
