some remarkable performs he has
witnessed , it is seldom he enjo's
an interesting listcner. With
the 'V alter L. .Main Circus ,
which exhibits here on Tuesday ,
August 23 , a family composed of
grandfather , fathers , sons ,
daughters , granddaughters and
grandsons , give a number on the
circus program as unique as it is
unparalleled-the nine Nelsot1s. .
' ! 'heir recognition as unequalled
acrobats is not alone contined to
America , but the world over. If
there be such 'a thing as heredi-
tar ) ' quality in acrobatic progeny
in the language of the street
gamin , lithe Nelsons are it. "
Feats thc average acrobat regards -
gards as impossible are executed
with as much ease and grace by
the Nelsons as the simplest maneuvers -
euvers and without the aid of
any mechanical or other contrivances -
ances whatsoever. A clear dc-
scription of theIr achievcments
baflles the pen , and it is not to
be wondered at that the Nelsons
receive the highest salary paid
for any similar production in the
show world.
'rhe Main Circus program this
year contains so many astonishing -
ing performances , that unless
seen one is inclined to be credulous -
lous as to their presentment , but
the Imowledge that for years
Main has kept faith with the
people his patrons are ever expectant -
pectant of witnessing many in-

novations whenever his amusement -
ment pays us a visit. This year
the circus has two ticket wagons
on the grounds , open at 1 and 7
p. m. for the convenience of the
public , where both reserved seat
and admission tickcts can be
purchased , also reserved seat and
admission tickets will be placed
on sale at post office , from 9 a.
m. on morning of exhibition.
