Chris Schmith of Madison
county , spent sevcral days in the
count ) . last wcek visiting with
hi's nephew Geo. Schmith , north
of the city. It was h ! first visit
tothe , county and he expressed
hi uself very much pleased with
it. He located in Madison in
1871 and now has 1,200 acres of
l 'nd near the county seat , worth
860 an acre. He is thinking
seriously of investing in ust r ,
