Uncle Thorn Hill is expecting
to go to St. Louis on a visit to
his daughters and other relatives
in a couple of weeks. He will
be gone all winter.
B. F. Edwards is expected
home in a day or two , with his

it overland from near Lexington

Frank Ackerman of Mdso t
City' was visiting over Sunday
with his wife's father , P. Johnson -
son , and incidentally looking for
a farm to buy. He returned
home this morning.
A. D. Hunt will begin work on
the new school house in the
Philli'ps dIstrict Wednesday of
this week , and work will be pushed -
ed with all possible haste , so
that school may be held yet this
school year.
The rain fall so far this ycar
from March 19th to Nov. 3rd. i n-
elusive has been twenty four
inches and eighty-five Imndreths.
While for last year the fall was
twenty four inches and twenty-
four hundreths. And for 1901
the fall was eighteen inches and
a half.
