up the floating debt of the district -
trict and tbat said bonds be
floated at the lowest possible rate
obtainable. . The resolutions was
adopted , but it was generally
conceeded that neither the board
nor the district has the authority
in law to issue bonds on a school
district for any purpose except'

chair was authorized to appoint
a judge and clerk of , lection and
tbat the poles should be kept
open until 5:00 : o'clock. Moved
by Hunlphr y that tbe names of
tbe four persons receiving the

ed on tbe official ballot , from
whom the ' ; oters might select
their preference. Amended by
Beal that the number be two instead -
stead of four. After consider-
lable discussion the amendment
was adopted by a rising vote.
