Claude Pickett , of the Third Nebraska volunteer regiment , re turned Monday night from Cuba , having been discharged with the rest of his regiment. While he did not have an opportunity to engage in battle during his expe rience at soldiering , he learned something about camp life and guard duty , which he will prob ably never forget.
