As you look over their platform you can see that they qualify themselves as individuals interested in the welfare of all rather than a few. Particularly is this group concerned with the sections of the New Charter designed to aid persons re gardless of race, creed or color to secure employment, par ticipate in the government of the city, enjoy rights, privileges of civic and social life. These Seven Friends are N. Phil Dodge, James J. Dworak, Mrs. Kenneth T. Graham, Sam W. Reynolds, Wray M Scott, A. V. (Al) Sorensen and Harry Trus tin. Five of the seven candidates were members of the Char ter Convention, which drew up the city’s new charter. Natural ly these Seven Candidates believe the voters of Omaha would appreciate having Seven Persons who are pledged whole heartedly to carry out the mandates of the City Charter. This committee represents a group of citizens who worked for the adoption of the charter and are interested in seeing it properly established.
