Seems like no one wants to come in and we’ve getting into debt trying to keep it go ing. Ans. No use throwing good money after bad. If your hus band’s business venture is a under it and quick. In this par “flop”—he should get out from ticular case, it would take con siderable money, time and ef fort to get the business on a paying! basis. I don't think it’s worth it. W.P.F.—I still love my wife and she loves me but her peo ple dislike me. Now I have a nice girl friend in New York City. Tell me which one is the best for me to go back to? Ans: You are morally oblig ated to make another attempt to live with your wife. It was selfish of you to separate just because you did not get along with her people. Find an apart ment of your own and you and your wife will have no trouble living together harmoniously and in perfect contentment. M.L.J.—I have been married for 17 years and we started to buy a home last year. Now there is not much work going on and my husband is not put ting in full time and we are hard up. I want to leave home and go to some town where I can take up a course in sewing and then be able to help out but he objects. Should I do so anyway ? Ans: No, you can’t walk out and leave him with the'entire |l responcibility of the home whi le you take a sewing course. You can learn to sew without leaving town. You might get the Home Economics Teacher at the local school to give you some instructions, or perhaps some good seamstress could use you as an under study. Make it your business to con tact these people and request their aid. J. G.—Dear Friend Abbie: Please give me some idea a bout what to do. There is a real old woman that works at the same place I dp and I nev er have done her any harm but she knocks me with everyone on the <job. I get along nicely with everyone but her. Ans: Don’t take her serious ly. Actually she holds no deep grudge against you. It would appear'that she took some re mark you made in the past as a personal slight and has nev er quite forgiven you. Assume a friendly attitude toward her, and she will soon sence the fact that you mean her well. M.S.D.—I read your letters in the paper every week. Please tell me how come my son and daughter do not like to stay at home. Seems1 like they 1 want t o stay but they leave every time they come back. Ans: Neither your son or daughter will ever be satisfied living at home again. Before they were married, things were different. They are too indep endent now. Appreciate their short visits home and do not insist that they remain even though they are not living with their mates. .1 IMMEDIATE INSTALLATION "MIDWEST" "PERMAGLASS" or "SERVEL" Automatic GAS WATER HEATERS , Ask for Prices and Terms 7J Pari Primus, serious s'chol al and spectacular perormer of African dances, will be among th^ noted artists and authorit iesin folk culture who will par ticipate in Fisk University’s 19th Annual Festival of Mus ic and Art, April 29—May 1. Galloway 2420 Grant Stieet Omaha, Nebraska Dear Si.: North Omaha is the spot I am trying to start a Boxing gym for a number of my Amat eur boxers. Sometime ago, I was boxing coach and promo tre for the Omaha Athelitic Club. As I write you, I can get the Jensen old gym, and as I am a working man I can't afford to buy the things a boxing gym needs. I will pay the rent out of my pockets, and I hope to get together an all Star colored team to meet the best in the country and I think my boys will make Omaha fans admire them. Sometime ago, some of my fans stated toi me they had no place to work out, 'so I cal led on the Y. M. C. A. with Leon Triplett. Rockey Grimes, and two other boys who all had their boxing shoes and other wears. A Mr. Harold Pugh said no colored. He said I could work out my white boys for S.50 a work-out. so now that there is no boxing gvm in Om aha that has the things inside for young boys to get their selves in top shape for fights, I therefore hope to put on a dan ce and other entertainments to raise monev to get just what I hope to be the best boxing gym ever in Omaha; and the folks who make this possible for my boys, the boys and yours tru ly will never forget, and I pro mise champs out of that gym, my all Star team. At our dance I hope to have three Judges to pick out the prettiest Miss, one that can make trips with the team. This I think will bring better boxers to our team. At this time, I believe I have a colored boys that are going to be hard to best, if given a place to work-out. If anyone cares to aid in this program, vou can call me after 6:00 p.m. at JA. 9949.
