The tension is such that the wheels stay straight until any abnormal stress is placed on the landing gear. First planes equipped with an ap proved castered wheel landing gear are expected to appear this year. Pan Performance The pan, rather than the oven, may be responsible when cakes, bis cuits or other baked products do not brown properly. In general, enamel ware baking pans give the deepest brown, glass ranks next in rapid browning, especially in an electric oven which has a- high degree of radiant heat. Enamelware and glass both absorb radiant heat well. In enamelware the browning often is mottled because this material does not distribute heat evenly. In aluminum and tin the browning is less rapid and usually more even. | ■ _ More Minerals for U. S. According to Bureau of Mines, the : U.
