For women in all parts of the world
the vision and courage of American
women is of crucial importance. This
effort will be a demonstration of the
concern Omaha women have for
womenhood everywhere. It will mean
a new awakening of women’s great
potential influence for the betterment
of this sadly confused world. This pro
gram needs your support. We count j
on your help and on everyone’s help,
that this world under God may have j
a new birth of freedom.

GRA Y CLUBS
Mr. Bowlig Mansfield, and Mr.
Rodester Timmons, members of the
acst of Annie Get Your Gun” were
guests'of the Near Northside Y.M.C.A.
last week. They accompanied Mr.
John R. Butler, Executive Secretary of
the Branch to the Gra-Y meetings at
Long, Howard Kennedy, and Kellom
Schools at which they rendered several
selections. Both of these young men
are artists in their own rights having
been principals in many plays on
Broadway.
Around 600 children heard these
artists at the various schools, and truly
enjoyed their program. On Thursday,
October 30, these artists sang at the
Central Y.M.C.A. for the Membership
meeting. Mr. Mansfield has been a

| MESSENGER OF PEACE”
I A new full-length sound film, star
ring John Beal, Peggy Stuart, Paul
‘Guilfoyle, Adeline Reynolds, and other
well-known actors and actresses, will
be shown at Zion Baptist Church on
November 19 at 8 p. m. “Messenger
of Peace” was filmed at the RKO
Pathe Studios in Hollywood. Produced
by the Lutheran Laymen’s League,
the casting and filming was carefully
I supervised by Christian clergymen,
I including the Rev. Lawrence Acker of
First Lutheran Church, Omaha.
You’ll live a lifetime in the hour
and a half it takes to see this picture.
And all along the way you’ll find some
thing tugging at your heart-strings,
tickling your sense of humor, lifting
up your spirits. “MESSENGER OF
PEACE” is more than the story of an
individual Pastor. The Rev. Ritter
merely portrays the tireless, self-sac
rificing service of the Christian Pastor
everywhere. It is the story of men
who give their lives to God in the
BREEZY
confines of a parish, on the flight deckall expressions of sympathy shown n Webster Groves, Mo.
of an aircraft carrier, in Diimitive mis-h'm during the illness and death of
sion fields. It is a story that long has
needed telling, and it is well told in
“MESENCER OF PEACE.”
"MESSENGER OF PEACE” is a
film offering not only Christian in
spiration, but all the elements of good j
entertainment. See it once and you’re
bound to say: “I could enjoy it over
again.”
Remember, “MESSENGER OF
PEACE,” a motion picture you’ll never
forget, at Zion Baptist Church on
Wednesday, November 19, at 8 p. m.
No admission, but a free will offering !
will be taken.
