God re quires more of a man today than yesterday, because of his greater experience, opportunitis, abilities, and etc. Man learns every other ritual but the ritual of God (the Holy Bible). Why? Raines, Pastor Mrs. Jeanie English, Reporter Sunday school, 9:30 a. m. Morn ing services, 11:00 a. m. Epworth League, 5:30 p. m- Evening ser vices 8:00 p. m. We were very fortunate to have so many present in our services this morning. Our pastor’s text was from Matthews 4:24-25 ver ses. Theme: Jesus Looks the Crowd Oved. Jesus pulled him self away from the crowd and had conference with God to gain strength. When he returned. His disciples were intersted in every thing h had to say. They did not want to miss one word He said. It is dangerous to be without the blessings of God; whenever we go any place we should always in vite God along with us. Whatever the Lord say is right We, as individuals, are not judges I of what is right, and what is wrong. “Blessed is the pure in heart for their’s is the Kingdom of Heaven.-’ “Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Jesu stold his dis ciples, “You are the Salt of the Earth; it is up to you to save the world.” to save men and women, all that is required of them is that they believe. Your’s is looking the crowd over, trying to find someone worthy. At last Jesus saw four or five, they were peace makers. Jesus said, “Blessed are the peace mak ers, for they shall inherit the earth.’’ Let us go out of our way to make peace. Sometimes men have been killed because they would not go to someone and say, “I’m sorry.” It does not mean that one is a coward when he says that he is sorry, but is only try ing to make peace- “Blessed are the peace makers, for they shall b called th children of God.” Let your light bo shine that men may see your good works. We never go to church without receiving a wonderful spiritual lesson from Rev. Raines’ sermons. There is much to be gotten, if we will only open our hearts and let it in. There were several visitors in our services this morning. We pray that more will visit us and feel welcome at all times. Cleaves Temple extends heart felt sympathy and mourns with Mrs. Walker and family in the loss of her father and member Brother James Dodd. j The evening services were by the children, sponsored by Mrs Wright and Mrs- Moore.
