TRI E SHEPHERliS
(By Myrtle M. Gootllow)
rrue shepards who have heard
The call to preach God's Holy
Word
To their calling will be true.
And as the Master’s work they do
»Vill make God's house a place
where
•Ye are strengthened through
sermon and prayer;
Oftimes spiritual uplift is
destroyed
By money making methods
employed
A littie more interest in soul
salvation
And less in weekly donations
Would create a desire not only
to give more
But churches too would prosper
as ne'er before
Receiving the spiritual aid we
seek
Should be our richest blessing
each week
Churches need members too
Who to the teachings will be true
For if we are not
We are only a stumbling block
And hinder our pastor's work
In building up the church
Just because we pay church dues
Our sins are not excused
For money nor costly rainment
Prepares lost souls for judgement
But hearts within cleanse^ from
sin
Preaching Christ and Him
crucified
i
Hearts and souls will be purified
And taught to live the Christ-like
way
Not only on Sunday but every day
Pastors, deacons and members
alike
A living example should be
So sinful men may see
As life's daily road we trod
That our life is hid with Christ
in God.

PINT-SIZED PRODIGY “Sugar
Chile” Robinson, moppet boogie

winning his own friends in Holly

MGM's “No Leave, No Love."
Just going on seven. Sugar Chile,
christened Frank, weighs 40 lbs.
and started to play the piano a
bout the time he was learning to
walk. Small but reseourceful. he
makes up for the smallness of his
hands, not big enough to stretch
octaves, etc., by hammering out
perfect rhythm and melody with
the aid of his knuckles and elbows
! Photo 1) Sugar Chile is beating
out some three-note chords be
tween camera appearances to keep
his pinkis limbered for big scenes
to come. (Photo 2) Hardly bigger
than a minute, Sugar Chile beats
on the keys as a little actor frien^
beats on the piano with drum
sticks. What a noise the two
make! (Photo 3) Here the tiny
phenom of the piano is accepting
