| fed up with that kind of love now.
-i.s mother has him tied to her
; apron strings and she doesn’t like
me at all. I have always tried to
make her like me but she is just
that kind, won’t give an inch. Now
I am about to fall in love with an
other man so tell me what to do?
Ans: You are certainly justified
in making other friends. Surely,
he can come to some kind of de
cision in eleven years and if he
can't he needs to be given a jolt.
But in all fairnss to him, it would
be well to let him know that you
lie making future plans that do
not include him. If he cares, he
will let you know and will want
) do something about it. This
procedure will let you know how

happened. Please help me.
Ans: Whn you left her, you tcld
her to have her fling and get it
out of her system before contact- !
ing you again. Evidently, she is ]
ready to settle down now. '1 he
only way you will ever be able
to determine if you can live to
gether peacefully is to take her
back and try it o.ice again. There
is one important issue for you to
consider—if you take her back,
make up your mind to forget the
past and put it out of your mind
entirely, i ou won’t ever be happy
if you let your mind continually
dwell on her past actions and
bring it up as a constant topic
oc conversation. It you forgive,

he loves me. He is very devoted
to the child. I want to leave him
but haven’t anyplace to go. I am
so unhappy, what must I do?
Ans: It’s much too late now to
be worrying about what might
have been and what you could
have been had you not married.
You chose marriage and you must
accept its responsibilities. You
have one child and another on the

way and their welfare must be
your first consideration and your
own personal feelings put in tne
background for the time being.
You loved your husband when you
married him and the chances are
you two could find happiness if
you would discontinue your bick
ering and be more understanding
and pleasant. You won him with
affection, kindness and pleasant

which to live with him. If you
will do all within your power to
make him happy and iron out
your little problems, he will cut
down on his gambling and drink
ing and try to live a more respect
able life. His devotion to his child
shows that he loves his home and
will settle down to his responsi
Dilities if encouraged and induced
in the right way. You can be

USED AUTOS NOW CHEAPER
Washington—The new year has
brought a four per cent reduction
in the re-sale ceiling price on used
automobiles, the Office of Price
Administration announced last
week. The reduction of prices ap
plies to used cars sold by either
dealers or private owners.
OPA’s price regulation for used
cars provides that ceiling prices
be reduced 4 per cent every six
months to cover depreciation. On
July 1, 1945, under this provision
a previous four per cent reduction
in ceiling prices became effective.
