We, the undersigned, believe that the letter is deserving of a public reply because it asks a fair ques tion Space does not permit a complete resume of all of the many errands of mercy on which your Community Chest dollars are sent- A pamphlet giving full details, is being distri buted to every home in Omaha- Here however, are a very few of the many things done with your Community: Chest dollars during the past year: The provided 198,216 days care for dependent and neglected Omaha children, through such fine agencies as the Child Saving Institute, the Child Welfare Association, and th Nebraska Children's Home Society. They provided recreation for 92, 148 Omahans monthly at various community centers, including the Omaha \ outh Centers, Inc-, whose ■ 350 average nightly attendance by i young teen-agers helped a great deal to combat juvenile delinquency.
