To help keep America from
being destroyed by some of the
children of the very people who
built her into the strongest and
richst country in the world.
Have you ever stopped to ponder. ..
why some "AMERICANS" have so
long raved
that it’s from our very own neigh
bors that our ciuntry must be
saved.
Didn't the Puritans found America
. .to escape from persecution but
didn't they quickly make the Quak
ers the object of retribution?
When the early Dutch first settl
ed here in the land called ‘of the
free”,
Weren't they labeled “dirty for
eigners" by our Indians, on a spree
But the Dutch, they were a hardy
lot they quietly settled down.
They went about their business
and established New York town.
The Irish .fighting the British,
heard some exciting news that A
merica welcomed all comers, with
or without their shoes.
Many sons of Erin soon set sail. ..
...westward across the ocean but
werent they often badly beaten.
for their “foreign" religious devo
tion?
The Latins, the Slavs, the Ary
ans, the Jews.soon discovered
with great elation
that making their homes in the U.
S.A.was like a permanent vaca
tion.
When the Negroes joined our
swelling hordes.to add their rac
ial strains
of al the people landing here.
they alone were brought in chains.
Then our Civil War unshackled
them and disproved a master race
that blacks and whites are equals
.is a fact even scientists nov
face.
Thus, we’ve built our America
rich and strong.with tolerance
as our basis
Your own ancestors would he the
first.to call it God’s oasis.
But some "Americans” forget all
this....and keep their hatreds a
flame when trouble arises, they
look around.for another religion
to blame.
The Nazis know this all too well
.it's the one thing that can I ck
US.
So they’ve planted “divide and
conquer” here.in our weakest
spot....they’ve kicked us.
In Gentile ears they've steadily
whispered. that our enemies are
the Jews
Thy’ve egged on all good Protes
tants.the Catholics to accuse.
They would set the Negroes a
gainst the whites....the rich against
the poor
They know that class and relig
ious hate.is a most irreslstable
lure.
Those whispers you hear are
Nazi lies they prove America’s
been invaded.
They're Germany's one last des
perate hope against a giant she
has underrated.
Wise Blacks and Whites know
all too well that it’s “STICK
TOGETHER” or a post-war hell.
That's why Jews and Gentiles
fight side by side.to knock off
Hitler and Hirohito as well
America still has one terrible ioe
.it’s the toughest that she faces
It's those gullible, misguided
“PATRIOTS”. Who hate all other
creeds and races
So our country’s greatest danger
lies.not from robot bombers,
It comes right from within our
selves. ...from our racial and relig
ious alarmers.
Remember how Prance fell part
in a month.from fifth column
ists she never sighted?
Mightn't France have avoided
catastrophe.if her people had
stood united?
The Nazis have been pulling
their same old tricks.to sell YOU
the hate of your neighbor.
America's future depends on
YOU.can YOU resist Hitler's
old enslaver?
YET US NEVER FORGET THIS
IMPORTANT FACT.AS WE
LOOK FOR SOMEONE TO ABUSE;
IN THE LAST TEN YEARS,
HITLER'S HOKUM HAS KILLED
..MORE WHITES THAN
BLACKS.MORE CHRISTIANS j
THAN JEWS.

CAUTION IN BEER LICENSING
URGED BV C. E. SANDALL
Careful consideration of the qual
ifications demanded by the Nebr
aska liquir control act for all who
are licensed to retail alcoholic bev
erages in this state is requested in
a leter sent to mayors and council
men this week by State Director
Charles E. Sandall of the Nebraska
Committee, United States Brewers
Foundation.
Noting that new and renewal ap
plications for the license year be
ginning May 1 soon will be receiv
ed by local governing bodies, Mr.
Sandall writes that "passing upon
these applications is an important
matter, both to your community
and to the brewing industry." He
declares "the brewing industry de
sires that licenses be granted only
to those who hy their past records
have shown a proper regard for
public interest, and the desire and
ability to comply with the law in
every respect.”
Mr. Sandall calls special atten
tion ti Sections 27, 28, and 99 of the
liquor control act, dealing with
beer retailer qualifications, and
concludes, “Strict adherence to
these provisions, and strict enforce
ment of all provisions of the law
after licenses ape issued will give
this state the soundest method of
handling alcoholic beverages, and
will aid in the promotion of the
health, safety, and welfare of the
citizens of this state. To this end
the Nebraska Committee stands
pledged to render support and as
sistance.”
