Dawson of the 1st Illinois Congressional District. Washington, D. C., July 13 (PPN S)—Senator Dennis Chavez (D., New Mexico,) has announced he will ask the Resolutions Committee of the Democratic Convention to include a plank pledging a permanent Fair Employment Practice Committee in the Democratic Platform. Senator Chavez has pending a bill for a permanent FEPC. He stated: “The Republicans beat us to the punch. I think the Republicans have some strong minortiy planks.
