Brown and wife, Susie Brown. 2301 North 22n.l St., Omaha, Nebraska, are the proud parents of five sons now serving in i#!he armed forces at various camps throughout the coutnry, and also have two sons now employed in de fense industry. The sons serving their country in the armed forces are: Sgt. Archie Lee Brown, Fort Clark, Texas, 9ih Calvary Band: Pfc. Hubert Brown, Fort Livingston. La.: Pfc. Eddie Brown. Fort Beale, Calif.; Cpl. Earl Brown, Camp Pinedaie, Calif.; Seaman Frank Brown. In training at Washington, DC. Mr. and Mrs. Brown were marri ed in Sweetwater, Tenn., in 1902 and have resided in Omaha since 1913. They are members of the Mount Moriah Baptist Church. The Browns also have a daught ; er, Mrs. Mary Louise Upton, living | in Baltimore, Md.. whose son Ben | D. In two years, they would have had added $3,000,000,000 of wealth to the race total, or more than they did in 75 | years after slavery.” M.- Allen pointed out that the k Prattis Plan is designed not only to integrate the Negro into this country's plans for financing the war. but also to provide the Negro with a nationally planned and dir ected program of thrift and group accumulation of savings. He said: “It is a post war plan for the Negro race, who should plan for 200 years from today. The Negro needs to sit down and map out some concrete plans for the future. For with everything changing, due to science, he will be left outside if he doesn’t plan. No one can do for the Negro what he can do for himeslf.
