City, Missouri, cousin Malcolm Pal
mer, Chicago, Illionis and other rel
atives. The body was forwarded
from The Thomas Funeral Home to
Sedalia, Missouri, where funeral,
services and burial were held Sat
urday afternoon.

The ten persons were arrested
early in June in vice raids in Bay
onne taverns ordered by M iyor
Frank Hague and Prosecutor Dan
el E. O’Regan of Hudson County
The nine women, many of them
middle aged housewives and moth
ers of grown children are all Bay
onne residents. They were arrest
ed while watching the raid being
conducted by Patrick Flanagan,
chief, prosecutor’s detective. They
were taken to the Hudson County
jail and asked to sign a statement
as material witnesses to the raid
If they refused to sign, the women
were told they would be held for
prostitution. Families of the ar
rested women saw them for the first
time in five months on October 29
when a writ of habeas corpus
brought the jaled women into cout'2.
