To Cyclops of the Seeing Eyes— Aren’t you glad that you live in America? Where everyone has a right to freedom of speech and op inion. We know you are; by the use of that you make of such priv ileges. We do not believe that you was anywhere on scene when we wrote about a certain incident, so "clops’ that leaves you out (ditto). You will soon find out in a long run, that there is no point in try ing to shuck us. We also admire your efforts in trying to write up for your friend. But we do not admire the way that you wrote it. It hit us in a Bad Spot! May you keep this thought with you: “We are not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings, but to help them. We also want to apologize to Rozella Thomas, for “clops” personaing her and dragging her last week. We do not thank you a bit. Cyclops!— (GOTS.) Seward Street Jumps Lucille Peterson gave a fine graduation party Friday night at her home. The “gates” an “gat ers” had a merry time and every one was jumping. Army Bow Wows Recruit was home on furlough and was walking down the main drag with his girl friend,.. when passing a studd .slightly inebriat ed, he was hailed as “Hi dogface” The girl friend immediately turn ed to the recruit, asked “why did that studd call you dog face?”.— The recruit answered, “maybe it's because we sleep in pup tents, wear dog tags for identification, and are always growling about something.” Well Cats, you won’t be seeing Bobby Blair’s car with him in it very soon. He left Monday for the Army life. Yes, yes, yes, all the news above is late news, it was supposed to have been in last weeks columns, but there was no column and so that news is stale.
