kin’s triple. St. Clair Breakfield
pitching for Woodson, then retired
ten of the next eleven men there
by dampering 4C’s chances.

Plans are taking definite shape
for our mammoth “Pageant of
Nations” to be given on Thursday
May 29th at Zion Baptist Church
in which we hope to have fifty or
more participants.
In connection with the pageant
there will be a vocal contest for
Juniors and Seniors in High
schools. The Winners will be giv
en the trip to the National con
vention in Los Angeles, where, if
a winner,h e or she will receive
a 1100 00 scholarship applicable to
a school of their choice. This
feature alone on the above even
ing will be worth your admission
price of 15 cents.
One will also approximate 30
or 40 ushers in their full uniforms
on parade in drills.
There will be the Crowning of
Miss America, as the winner hav
ing sold the highest number of
tickets.
Who will she be?
Prominent persons will have
parts in the pageant.
