"Smile
and the World Smiles with You”
The Voice With a Smile” is contagious—it makes
friends—it’s a real social and business asset. Many
times, people form their im pression of you by your
voice and the manner in which you telephone.
What are the points of a pleasing telephone per
sonality? To speak pleasantly, of course. And to
be considerate and courteous — such things as
answering promptly, talking directly into the
mouthpiece in a normal tone of voice, and hang
ing up the receiver gently.

You must have pockets this season. This slim
line princess frock made of a sdft Chartreuse Shark
skin has a heart-shaped neckline, that is most flat
teririg. The saucy, ruffled pockets are eye-catching I
and tdpped with a large summer straw brynnet, you
will draw gasps of admiration from passerbys. A
full length zipper fastener tends to give smooth linies
to the front closing and two deep soft pleats give
plenty of room for Milady’s mode of walking.
Speaking of pockets—pictured above are some
very smart ones—A is designed fo|r slim sport dress
es and are big enough to hold most anything. B are
thr? pouch type and are fastened to the belt of the
dress, making the waist lodk small and trim. C.—are
the button-up variety. They are exceptionally wide
and add a youthful touch to an otherwise plain dress.
