Albert Dunn and John McDaniel.
They were assisted by Mr. Uras
mus Rrummell, Jim Williams and
Richard Turner. The ladies en
joyed the dinner immensely.
The What Knot Saving Club
met with Mr. and Mrs. Dunn at
their residence, 2226 Miami St.,
Tuesday evening. After the usual
form of opening, tLhey transacted
business and some very interesting
topics were discussed. The hos
tess for the day served a delicious
meal. They adjpumod to meet

OMAHANS JOINS CMT CAMP
A Citizens’ Military Training
Camp for Colored trainees one of
three such camps in the United
States, opened here on July 6th
with Brigadier General Robert C.

The Calvary School Commanding.
Out of the 167 applicants who
reported only seven were disqjuali
fied because of physical defects.
The remaining 160, divided into
two companies, have fallen into
the strict military routine with
high morale and an eagerness to
learn.
Consequently training has pro
gressed rapidly. In addition to In
fantry drill the trainees have been
given interesting lectures and ie
