VISITS BROTHER IN NAPTOWN Miss Juliette Thelma Lee, the daughtr of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Lee, 2863 Maple street, spent last week-end in Indianapolis, In diana, visiting her brother, Mr. Lloyd Livingston Lee. Both of them were formerly of this city. Miss Lee is a registered nurse at Provident Hospital in Chicago and is a student in Loyola Uni versity. Mr. Lee fc* a graduate student at Fisk University and is engaged for the summer on a sociological research project for the Flanner House of Indianapo„ lis. WOODSON CENTER NEWS Summer Vacation School Vacation School at Woodson Center this year interested boys and girls seven ot fourteen years * * * * * of age. Classes were offered in handcraft, woodwork, clay modell. ing arte raft, choral dramatics and folk.dancing. Each group of the school enjoyed a game period. The enrollment of the school eighty four by the second week. High school girls took alvantage of the ion period and enjoyed clas ses in sewing and cooking. These girls are so much interested in domestic arts and sciences, that they h&vo enrolled for similar classes during the month of Aug. ust. They have spent each morning in our Vaca_ tion School and have done a fine piece of work with their classes.
