The regular church services were
interesting as the pastor spoke
from the 51st Psalms on, ‘Sin
and Its Punishment.” There were
several visitors present who were
made welcome to the church.
BYPU was enjoyed by all. Group
No. 3 was in charge of the pro
gram.
Evening services were, well at
tended considering the weather.
Pilgrim is well represented in
the Baptist Training school now
in session at the First Baptist
church 26th and Park avenue.

the wonderful message. The Junior

At 11:00 o’ocloek our pastor, who
wasn’t feeling well presented an
inspiring message. His text was
found in the 8th chapter of Jere
miah, 20th verse, “The harvest is
past and the summer ended.” His
subject, “We are not Saved.” Choir
service was rendered by the, Junior
choir, all day.
BYPU opened at 5:30 with the
president presiding. A very lovely
program was presenecf by the of
ficers of the BYPU.
At 8 o’clock Rev. Pettis present
ed his sermon. His text was 3rd
chapter of Book of Revelation, 7th
verse.
Our Prayer meeting is coming
along splendid. Last Wednesday 22
were present. Visit us sometimes.

Miss Rachel Cason, presiding. All
had a very good lesson. Two were
added to the school.
Morning service was in high with
the Calvary Baptist church choir
and pastor present. All had a won
derful time. The Tribe program
was a great success.
Evening service was in high. The
pastor brought forth a powerful
message. Subject, “Everlasting
Consultation.”
The young people of Clarinda
will present a play titled ' Bash
ful Mr. Bob.” Monday evening,
February 28, at 8 p. m. All are
welcome to come and witness this
play.
